Conversion rates are higher for tablet buyers than for desktop buyers.
According to ReadWriteWeb in September 2011 alone, nearly half of tablet owners made purchases on their devices. Already 12% of the Internet-using U.S. owns a tablet and, according to Forrester, “tablet users in the U.S. are estimated to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 51% from 2010 to 2015.“
